Media outlets called the U.S. presidential election on Saturday in favor of former Vice President Joe Biden, much to the chagrin of many voters in Williams County. In fact, President, Trump received a higher percent of votes in Williams County in 2020, at 72% than he did during his first go-round in 2016…that’s according to unofficial final results from the Williams County Board of Elections. It was the best performance by a Republican candidate within Williams County since Ronald Reagan got 74% of the local vote in his successful 1984 bid for reelection.
