Three semis collide on I-69 southbound near Markle . First responders arrived at mile marker 295 one mile north of the Markle exit, where they found the damaged vehicles and a large amount of their freight strewn across the roadway. Witnesses told officers a semi was traveling south when the driver began experiencing some type of braking issue. The driver of the second big rig following behind tried to swerve and miss the first but clipped part of the trailer. The two drivers pulled over onto the shoulder…and as the second driver walks up to the first semi…a third big rig slams into the back of the second semi. The third truck ends up on its side in the ditch. No injuries reported. Traffic was slowed for some time as crews cleaned up frozen food and other various goods, along with pieces of the damaged vehicles. The crash is under investigation.
