In Ney…a blaze destroys a small garage and heavily damages a shed, on Ohio 15. Area fire crews were joined by others from Farmer Township and Sherwood. It took over an hour to put the flames out, officials tell reporters. Apparently, the homeowner was burning cardboard in a burn pile when the shed catches on fire. The wind pushes the flames into the nearby garage, seconds after. The home next to it…is next…but the fire team moves in and saves the place. A few hours later…the crew has to come back…as some rekindling took place. The fire team quickly handles it. The moral?…pick a less breezy day to do your burning.
