Bob Ames, Jr., 36

Robert Larry “Bob” Ames, Jr., age 36 of Dundee, Michigan and formerly of Delta passed away unexpectedly Thursday March 27, 2014 in his home. Mr. Ames had previously worked for The Andersons in Toledo and M&K Metals of Delta.

Mr. Ames was born in Wauseon on September 30, 1977 the son of Robert and Lucy (Miller) Ames. He was a graduate of Delta High School.  Mr. Ames was a sports fan who enjoyed weight lifting and spending time with his daughter, Samantha Wagner.

Surviving besides his daughter, Samantha is his girlfriend; Ashley Ludos of Dundee, Michigan, mother Lucy Ames of Delta, sisters; Lucy Ames, Dawn Ames and Michelle (Lupe) Cantu all of Wauseon and Brenda Ames of Defiance. Also surviving are many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father Robert Ames, Sr. and brother Chad Ames.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday April 1, 2014 at the Delta Assembly of God Church in Delta with Pastor Randy Trowbridge officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Caspar Cemetery in Wauseon. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00-8:00pm at the Delta Assembly of God Church.
