Boy Scouts 65th annual Klondike Derby coming in January.

The Scouts of the Black Swamp Area (BSA) Council are gearing up for the 65th Annual Klondike Derby at Camp Berry near Findlay on Jan. 18. More than 350 Scouts BSA members and adult volunteers will attend this year’s event which will pit groups of 5-8 Scouts in individual patrols in a test of skills, agility and endurance during a day-long event. Local Scout troops from northwest and west central Ohio will participate. Last year 29 sleds competed at the event held at Defiance’s Camp Lakota.
