The pedestrian bridge at George Bible Park is set to be replaced soon. The Williams County commissioners approve an agreement…to purchase a new bridge for the park at a cost not to exceed $75,700 dollars. Officials say…the county received state funding in the amount of $50,000 to help with the project. They add…the project plans date to last year, when the county applied for $108,000 dollars in funding from the state. At that time, he said the county planned to replace the bridge, aerate the pond and perform some drainage work. However, with the state funding coming in at $50,000, only the bridge will be replaced at this time.
