Bryan Fire Dept. responded to more calls in 2024.

The Bryan Fire Department responded to more calls in 2024 than 2023, due largely to emergency medical service first responders, according to the department’s annual report. Fire Chief Doug Pool recently presented the report to council and noted the department received 1,738 calls for service in 2024, which was 28% more than those received in 2023 (1,251).
