Buck Cemetery vandalized

Someone recently vandalized Buck Cemetery near Evansport. At 1:43 on Monday afternoon, Springfield Township Trustee Rusty Goebel reported someone toppled five headstones and littered the cemetery with beer cans. Buck Cemetery has become notorious among a fringe group of paranormal enthusiasts for being haunted. For decades, some people have believed it to be haunted by caretaker John Buck. It’s located down a gravel road with limited access. The road is gated due to years of vandalism. There has also been at least one suicide in the cemetery.
