It’s just a shame when this happens. An area newspaper we like very much is going away. Officials say Montpelier’s, The Leader Enterprise newspaper, with a publishing history dating back 120 years, will end its run with its Feb. 27 issue, Lack of subscriptions and advertising for the weekly newspaper, the cause. They say the operation is up for sale, if anyone is interested.
