Carl R. Dickinson, Jr., age 59, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Community Health and Wellness Centers- Bryan. Carl was medically retired from the United States Army.
Carl was born on March 19, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Carl R. and Jean (Colgrove) Dickinson, Sr. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jean and Ramsey Thiel, of Bryan; sisters, LuVerne (Steve) Adamson, of Edmore, Michigan, half brothers, John M. Hodapp, of Mexico, Gene P. Hodapp, of Toledo, Ohio, and Michael Simon, of Toledo; stepbrothers, Jeff Thiel, of Jackson, Tennessee, and Mark Thiel, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and stepsister, Susan Dumuth, of Alaska. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Dickinson, Sr., and sister, Ethel J. Wyse.
Visitation for Carl Dickinson will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Grace Community Church, 206 Bement Street, Bryan, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. with Pastors Mike Kelly and Sam Byroads officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family.
