Juveniles in Williams County’s court system will have a new entity looking out for their well-being as the Henry County Court Appointed Special Advocates is set to expand its service area. The Napoleon-based program announced it is expanding into Defiance and Williams counties and changing its name to Northwest Ohio CASA. CASA volunteers act on behalf of children involved in certain types of court cases and make recommendations to judges based on their interactions with the child and their family.
