Casey James Karnes, age 40, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at the Filling Home Memorial Home of Mercy in Napoleon surrounded by the wonderful staff, care givers and his mother . Casey had been a resident at the Filling Home for many years. He had a wonderful smile and was always happy. He liked to socialize with his roommates and participated in the Special Olympics.
Casey was born on November 29, 1981 in Bryan, the son of Amy M. (Grieser) Karnes.
Casey is survived by his mother, Amy M. (Brad) Cox, of Bryan, sister, Donna (Ethan) Wonderly, of Farmer and nieces Willow and Meadow. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Fran Grieser and cousin, Justin Grieser.
Visitation for Casey will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 12:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. at Pettisville Cemetery on Friday, September 9, 2022.
A celebration of Casey’s life will be held at the chapel of the Filling Home for staff and residents at a later date.
