A new superintendent is selected for the Evergreen School District. The position, previously held by Jim Wyse will be taken over by Eric Smola. Smola was formerly the principal of St. Francis for 10 years. Wyse has accepted superintendent duties for the Millcreek-West Unity school district for this coming year.

Two Hurt In 107 Accident

Two people are hurt in a two car crash on Ohio 107 west of Montpelier. The occupants of one vehicle sustained moderate to severe injuries. A person in the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries and released. The crash is under investigation by local authorities at this hour.

Goebel Faces Drug Charges

An Edgerton man pleads guilty to drug charges after being indicted on several others in March. Daniel Goebel was accused of possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. At his arrest, he also had 42 grams of meth on him. Sentencing is set for next month.

A suspect uses fake money used in motion pictures to get a deck of lotto tickets at a Bryan Spee D Mart. Officers say the 100 dollar bill had the words movie set money printed on it. The incident is under investigation. The police knows who the suspect is.
