Tax Continues In Montpelier

Montpelier residents will see a small income tax renewal on their ballots in May. The Village Council passed the third reading of it now. The tax has been in place for the past 20 years, and helps fund the sewer separation process, which is mandated by the state.

A Montpelier theft case. Kruz Harrington, accused of stealing five guns from another man pled not guilty, this before Williams County Judge, JT Stelzer. Prosecutors say back on Dec. 13, he stole two handguns and three rifles. Harrington’s next court appearance is Feb. 4.
