A New Sidewalk For The Park

Recreation Park in Bryan will have a new sidewalk before August. City Council okayed a $112,220 contract with D&F Enterprise, of Bluffton, to start construction after July Fourth. It will extend from the tennis courts to Field five. The Bryan Area Foundation helped out, directing $75,000 towards the project.

The Millcreek-West Unity Board of Education votes to hire its newest superintendent. Evergreen Schools Superintendent, Jim Wyse will replace the recently retired, Larry Long. Wyse served as elementary counselor in Millcreek-West Unity from 1997 to 2003. He takes the reins in August.
