A former Defiance college president has died. Marvin Ludwig was the school’s longest serving leader, holding the post from 1975 to 1994. He’s time was noted for the major expansion of the campus. He passed away in Portage. Ludwig was 91.

A multi car crash on US 20 east of Flint Road shut down the roadway for two hours. The Angola Fire Department was among the first responders sent to the scene. State and local investigators are canvassing the area, looking for answers after the crash. No one was hurt.
