A Montpelier man is brought in and charged with assault. Officers were called to an Ohio 576 address. Investigators say Jared Leidy is accused of head butting a 59 year old woman. Leidy was taken to the Corrections Center in Stryker, where he remains in custody.

Another Drug Victim Saved

Another close call overdose in the area. This time in Montpelier. First responders were at a South Monroe Street location. The victim was given the drug Narcan and the OD was avoided. The victim refused more treatment. The incident is under investigation.
