CCNO CONSTRUCTION STARTED

Con­struc­tion is under­way at CCNO.

Jim Den­nis, exec­u­tive direc­tor of the Cor­rec­tions Cen­ter of North­west Ohio, announced Wednes­day that con­struc­tion for a new fenced-in cor­ri­dor between the main jail and the facility’s work release build­ing has begun.

The $49,000 project, when com­pleted some­time next month weather per­mit­ting, will improve over­all secu­rity and total bed space.

Accord­ing to the Bryan Times, Den­nis told his board of direc­tors on Wednes­day, that the prison pop­u­la­tion stood at 552 (87 percent).
