Chad Allen Reynolds passed away unexpectedly on June 28th, 2020 at the young age of 36. Unfortunately, not from “slappin a grizzly bear” like he always claimed he would leave this world doing.
Chad is preceded in death by his loving mother, Lori Coopman. He is survived by his son, Avery, father Mark Reynolds (Sandy) of Fayette, step-father Mike Coopman of Archbold, siblings, Lexi Reynolds of Lyons, Mandi Fenstermaker (Reynolds) of Wauseon, Chase Reynolds of Wauseon, Whitney Betz of Monroe, MI, niece Allyson, nephew Braxton, grandparents, Ernie and Barb Bingham of Wauseon, Dave and Linda Myles of McClure, and Victor and Karen Reynolds of Bowling Green, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chad was born on September 19, 1983 in Wauseon, Ohio. Chad had a giant passion and love for the outdoors. His favorite color was camouflage. He always felt his best while baiting a hook, cooking up a squirrel and sleeping under the stars. He was a skilled tradesman, an excellent marksman (real life Robinhood…no joke), and so knowledgable in both areas. He was well known for his crazy sense of humor, unforgettable laugh and wild card way of life; like when he thought standing on stilts on a rolling skateboard at fifteen was a good idea. He could out-sing anyone to “Strawberry Wine” or “Indian Outlaw” and no one could top the number of dead animals he kept in his collection besides a taxidermist. His short life was one wild ride full of so many memories, laughs and numerous moments where we all thought, “are you kidding me?!” Anyone that knew Chad knew he didn’t have the easiest road traveled in life but he had an ocean full of supporters and people rooting for him through its entirety and he will be missed beyond measure. His family bears his absence with complete sorrow and shout out how much they love him “all the way to heaven and all the way back.”
Services will be scheduled in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to the benevolence of the family, in care of Mark Reynolds. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
