Charlene B. Currence-Bojrab, age 79, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:38 A.M. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan. Mrs. Currence-Bojrab was formerly employed in banking as a teller and also worked as a cake decorator with a bakery. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan where she was a member of the St. Anne’s Circle, the Young-at-Heat Club and the quilting club. She also enjoyed attending the Bryan Senior Center.
Charlene B. Currence-Bojrab was born on December 22, 1934, in Conway, Arkansas, the daughter of Roy and Viola (Slaten) Markham. She married Lew Currence in July of 1953, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She then married Gary Bojrab on November 28, 2008, in Bryan and he survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Donna (Bob) Anthony and Cathy (Craig) Slocum, both of Bryan; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Morris, of Joplin, Missouri and two brothers, Terry Markham, in Michigan and Bill Markham, in Arizona. She was also preceded n death by one son, Michael, and a granddaughter, Melissa Currence.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014, from 3:00-6:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan with a scripture service to be held at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan with Father James Halleron officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.
