Charlotte Rose Kays, age 89, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2017, at Bryan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Kays was a graduate of Hilltop High School and worked as a Dietary Technician for Community Hospital and Wellness Center, Bryan, Ohio for 26 years. She was a member of the New Beginnings Community Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Charlotte was born on August 11, 1935, in Jackson, Ohio, the daughter of Raleigh Ray and Mabel Elizabeth (Clinton) Britt, Sr. She married Paul Edwin Kays on July 19, 1958, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2017.
Surviving Charlotte are her two sons, Tim Kays, of Bryan and Mark (Kelly) Kays, of Melbourne, FL; four grandchildren, Wesley (Hannah) Kays, of Indianapolis, IN, McKinzie Kays, of Daytona, FL, Matthew Kays, of Morgantown, WV and Taylor Kays, of Melbourne, FL and four great-grandchildren, Ellie, Naomi, Asher and Abby Kays. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kays; father, Raleigh Ray Britt, Sr.; mother and stepfather, Mabel (Herman) Lippert and brother, Alton Eugene Britt.
A graveside service and interment for Charlotte and Paul will take place in Fountain Grove Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
