An Auburn teenager is in the DeKalb County Jail…while an Indiana State Trooper is recovering from a leg injury…after a traffic investigation turns physical. The officer is patrolling northbound on I-69, north of State Road 8…that’s when he sees Anthony Lamm, 19, going more than 100mph. He sees the cops…gets off the roadway…and quickly abandons his car in the Cracker Barrel restaurant parking lot, right off the exit. A witness tells the officer…Lamm ran towards the Marathon station, next door. When the police tries to get him in the cruiser…he puts up a fight. An officer slips on the ice, injuring his leg. Lamm was taken to a hospital to be medically cleared before going to the DeKalb County Jail on a list of charges. The patrolman is treated at the hospital and released.
