Chase Leads To Bust

A Defiance man is chased down by officers in the city’s south side. Carl Hagerman is charged with obstruction, drug possession and resisting arrest. He also was served three warrants for theft and parole violation. Officers produced the arrest warrants at Hagerman’s Terrawenda Drive residence. Hagerman jumped a fence in the backyard and ran south for several blocks…he was then taken into custody and booked into the lockup in Stryker.
