Chavis H. Martinez, age 28, of Archbold, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan. Chavis was a graduate of Bryan High School and was taking online college classes for computer programming. He enjoyed gaming and making YouTube videos. He was an exceptional baseball player growing up.
Chavis H. Martinez was born on May 13, 1992, in Winter Haven, Florida, the son of Antonio and Mistie (Hogan) Martinez. He is survived by his sister, Brittney (Stan) Rice, of Bryan, Ohio; grandmother, Billye Cox, of Peducah, Kentucky; fianceé, Desiree Reyes, of Archbold; stepdaughter, Kaylize Reyes, of Archbold; aunt, Shonda Hogan, of Tennessee; and cousins, Colton Meyer, of Bryan, and Whitney Reynolds, of Centralia, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Mistie Martinez; brother, Justin Hogan; and aunt, Kristi Hogan.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
