Christina A. Householder-Sowles, 48, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at The University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1973 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Sherry Neumann, and she survives. Christina worked as an assembly line worker for Advanced Assembly LLC in Columbia City, Indiana for the past 14 years, and previously worked at Meridan, Grabill Cabinets and Therma-Tru Doors. Christina was known as a fun, caring and giving person. She loved to make food for her work friends, including her popular Rum Balls. She also enjoyed donating her hair to Locks of Love, or crocheting hats, gloves and blankets for those in need.
Christina is survived by her two children, Justice (Megan Washler) Aderholt of Hicksville, Ohio, and Faith Sowles of Hicksville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Cadan, Ensley, Joshua, Kiya and Artemis; mother, Sherry Neumann of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three siblings, Michael Householder of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rob “Uncle Surrender” Ackley of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Angela Householder of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. Christina was preceded in death by her grandpa, Donald Neumann; grandma, Willodene Neumann; grandma, Florabell Smead; and an uncle, Terry Neumann.
Visitation for Christina A. Householder-Sowles will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, masks are recommended for those attending visitation.
