Claude Ensman, 91

Claude G. Ensman, 91 years, of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne after a brief illness.  Claude was born December 31, 1923 in Bryan, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Barker) Ensman.  He married June Delores Sanders on May 14, 1950 in Bryan, and she preceded him in death on January 14, 1991.  Claude over the years was a milk carrier and a lifelong farmer.

Surviving are his five sisters, Ann Schindler of Bryan, Betty Repp of Montpelier, Catherine Warner of Bryan, Irene (Robert) Kemp of Bryan and Josephine (Donald) Stratton also of Bryan.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife June, one sister, Marie Stantz and one brother, Charles Ensman.

Visitation for Claude G. Ensman will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 with Father Jim Halleron officiating.  Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery, Bryan.
