Clemis Lilly Sr. 76 years, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 in his residence. Clemis was born February 26, 1940 in Flat Top, West Virginia, the son of the late Carlos and Macy (Graham) Lilly. He married Lettie Mae Rohn in 1970, and she preceded him in death on October 22, 2015. Clemis was a self-employed painter. He had also worked for Harris Float Boat and Hydrodyne as a fiberglass fabricator. Clemis enjoyed tinkering around in his garage, fixing whatever happened to need fixed
Surviving are his three children, Lisa (David) Panson of Waynesville, Ohio, Christy Lilly of Dayton, Ohio and Clemis (Beth) Lilly, Jr., of Fort Wayne, Indiana; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emily Basham and Rosalie Flutrow, both of Harlan, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lettie and one sister, Annalee Mooney.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Sherwood Cemetery with Pastor Fred Brandon officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood, Ohio 43556.
