Clifford D. Quimby, Jr. 57 years, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the emergency room at Wexner Medical Center of The Ohio State University. Clifford was born July 20, 1956 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of the late Clifford D. and Ruth Amy (Nikolson) Quimby, Sr. He was a 1974 graduate of Stryker High School. He served in the Air National Guard. Clifford was a tow motor operator at Honda Motor Company in Marysville, Ohio. He had also worked at Urick Disposal and Mutton Lawn & Tractor Sales, both in Fort Wayne.
Surviving are his two brothers, Lester (Helen) Quimby of Colon, Michigan and Jack (Mary) Quimby of Stryker, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sherry Quimby of Fostoria, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Samantha Suzette Quimby, one brother, Ronald Quimby and his companion, Anna Kerington.
Graveside funeral services for Clifford D. Quimby, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Evansport Cemetery with Pastor John Sterner officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio.
