Clifton L. Gorrell, 75, of Harlan, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Clif was born June 10, 1946, in Hicksville, Ohio, the son of Raymond and Thelma (Ruppert) Gorrell. He was a 1964 graduate of Hicksville High School. Clif served in the United States Army. He married Linda L. Snyder on March 9, 1968, in Hicksville, Ohio. Clif worked in manufacturing for FoamEx and several other factories in the area. He enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows. He especially cherished his time spent with his family. In his younger years, Clif enjoyed running, and helping train his children for cross country events.
Surviving is his wife, Linda Gorrell of Harlan, Indiana; three children, Jamie (Jeff) Hardin of Hodgenville, Kentucky, Tim Gorrell of Harlan, Indiana, and Mickie (Dwain Wenzlick) Gorrell of Hicksville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Christina Hardin, Nicholas Hardin, Madeline Rioux, Michael Rioux; brother, Norm Gorrell; sister, Vickie (Richard) Williams; several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Clif will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville with a Memorial Service starting at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Lathan Snyder officiating.
