Columbus Grove man indicted on four felonies related to a fire at his business sentenced.

A Columbus Grove man who had been indicted on four felonies related to a fire at his business in Kalida has been sentenced on a misdemeanor charge. 58 year old Jeff Hoyt was fined $500 and given a suspended 180-day sentence in Putnam County Jail by Judge Keith Schierloh. He also was placed on probation for five years with a number of conditions, including that he submit to random drug/alcohol testing and not possess a firearm.
