Cora Pearl Kwascigroh, age 87, of Stryker passed away early Friday September 15, 2017 at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a mail carrier. She had also worked in area factories and in sales.
Mrs. Kwascigroh was born on October 29, 1929 in Swanton, Ohio the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Inez (Richardson) Meyer. In 1976 she married Frank E. Kwascigroh and he preceded her in death in 1990. She enjoyed living on the farm, gardening, dancing, fishing and going to garage sales and flea markets.
Surviving are her children; Jean (Ivan) Phillips of West Unity, Charles (Patrecia) VanderHorst of Alvorton, and Paul (Barbara) Watkins of Bryan. Also surviving are many grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren and sisters; Dorothy Taft, Betty Dennis and Mae (Lloyd) Kelley all of Swanton. Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were children, Steven Watkins, Linda Traxler, Rosemary Borton, grandson Brian Tennant and siblings; Alfred, Robert, Donald, Ernie, Edna Weigel and Leona Light.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Monday September 18, 2017 at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker. Interment will be held at 1:00pm on Monday at the Bowholtz Cemetery near Oakwood, Ohio. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00-6:00pm at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker.
