Crash Near LaOtto

A man is hurt after he crashes a pickup truck into a ditch, just south of LaOtto at County Road 70 and State Road 3. Daniel Becker of Ossian, was driving north on 3 and tried to turn left onto 70. Officials told reporters he then went off the road at a high rate of speed, ending up in the ditch. No other vehicles were involved. Becker was taken to the hospital for a head injury. DeKalb County officials say alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
