Dale D. Beal, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio, after a brief illness. Mr. Beal was a graduate of Edon High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1954-1956. He was employed by Campbell Soup and later retired from The Aro Corporation with thirty-seven years of service. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan American Legion Post #284, Suburban Golf Club, Bryan Eagles, Aerie #2233, and Bryan Moose Lodge #1004.
Dale Duane Beal was born on July 22, 1935, in Blakeslee, Ohio, the son of Leland A. and Caroline (Maier) McDonald. He married Charlotte A. (Tule) Ludwig on June 22, 1975, near West Unity, Ohio, and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Beth Morrison, of Grand Rapids, Ohio, and Linda Fenstermaker, of Napoleon, Ohio; two stepsons, Craig (Valarie) Ludwig, of Leesburg, Virginia, and Bradley (Tammy) Ludwig, of Florence, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; six step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Norman (Linda) Beal, of Milton, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents,one son, David Beal and one grandchild.
Grave side services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Shiffler Cemetery near Bryan, with Pastor Nicholas Tule officiating. Grave side military rites will be conducted by Bryan American Legion Post #284 and the United State Marine Honor Guard.
