Daryl E. Kleck, age 82, of Delta, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, March 7, 2017, at Swanton Health Care surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 19, 1934 in Archbold, Ohio, to the late Wilbur and Fern (Leitner) Kleck He married Carol Vonier on April 25, 1954. Daryl served in the US Army.
Daryl was a lifelong farmer and truck driver. He also enjoyed hauling water in the summer months for over 20 years. Daryl was a member of Delta Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon from 1975-1985. He was a past member of the Fulton County Cattle Feeders and Pork Feeders Associations. Daryl was on the Evergreen School Board of Education for 8 years, he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carol; children, Karla (Gary) Meier, Jill (Ken) Woo, Denise (Steve) Loeffler, Michelle (Tim) Warncke, and Keith (Penny Spinner) Kleck; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard (Carol) Kleck, Jeaninne (Tom) Lovgren, and Lynn (Sue) Kleck.
Family and friends may visit, Tuesday, March 14th from 4 to 8:00 p.m. at the Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home, 400 W. Main St. in Delta (419.822.3121). Funeral Services will held at the Delta Church of Christ (500 Providence St. Delta, Ohio 43515) on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
