David Dunham, Sr., age 80, of Wauseon, passed away at Heartland of Wauseon on Saturday evening, August 15, 2015. Prior to his retirement he had served with the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. He was a Vietnam War Veteran.
David was born in Rossford, Ohio on July 23, 1935, the son of Willis and Polly (Spencer) Dunham. He is survived by his son, David (Rhonda) Dunham, Jr. of Wauseon; two step-grandchildren, Corey and Jason Todd; brother, Buddy (Elizabeth) Dunham of Toledo; and sister, Ruth Dunham of Chicago, IL. Also surviving are nieces and nephews Gwen (Charles) Baccus, Constance Cottingham, Amelia (Dwayne) Young, Milton Dunham,James (Melanie) Dunham , Roland (Noreen) Dunham and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five sisters; Jennifer Dunham, Alberta Dunham, Mildred Dunham, Ruby Johnson, and May Scroggins.
Visitation for David will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, where the funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Paul Flores will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery, where Military Rites will be preformed by the Fulton County Honor Guard. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
