Two people are killed in a three car crash on Highway 6 in Williams County. Richard Keeterle and Laura Buchholz both of Defiance were the victims. Officers say a westbound semi driven by Joseph Gonzalez of Cleveland ran into the rear of a westbound vehicle, driven by Rick Davis of Wauseon, who had slowed to turn south. The semi then went left of center and struck an eastbound SUV, driven by Keeterle head-on. He and Buchholz were ejected from the vehicle. Davis and Gonzalez each escaped serious injury. No charges have been filed as the Ohio Highway Patrol continues to investigate. It is the second deadly crash in that vicinity in two weeks.
