Defiance man indicted in child sexual abuse case.

A Defiance man is facing multiple rape charges with the possibility of life in prison after his indictment in a child sexual abuse case. 38 year old Travis Hussey was charged in Defiance County Common Pleas Court with 10 counts of rape, each a first-degree felony; and one count of gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony, according to Defiance County Prosecutor Morris Murray’s office. Each rape charge carries a potential prison term of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, due to the victim’s age (less than 10 years) at the time of the alleged crimes.
