Defiance man placed on community control after scamming property owners.

A Defiance man who ran a construction business and scammed property owners in multiple counties has been placed on community control in Henry County Common Pleas Court and ordered to make more than $150,000 in restitution to the victims. 27 year old Joseph Schlosser was placed on community control for five years on a charge of attempted engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, and given four days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. He also was ordered to make restitution of $154,644.57 to the victims with $1,000 to be paid now and at least $500 per month beginning Sept. 1 until the amount is met.
