Deloy H. Fraley, age 78, of Hamilton, Indiana, passed away at 4:05 P.M. on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a brief illness. Mr. Fraley was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed raising draft horses, which were a familiar sight at parades throughout the area and a big hit with children in kindergarten classes whom he often gave rides to in his wagon. He was also a longtime employee of Dana Corporation in Angola, Indiana. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Hamilton American Legion.
Deloy H. Fraley was born on October 10, 1939, near Hamilton in Richland Township, Indiana, the son of Rollie and Rechina (Legge) Fraley. He married Julia M. Siebenaler on June 24, 1967, in Angola and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2009.
Survivors include his children, Sherri (Mike) Kasson, of Perrysburg, Ohio, Laurie Kaiser and Joel Kaiser, both of Hamilton, Indiana, and Kenneth Kaiser, of Woodville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Fraley, in Austria, and Ron (Deb) Fraley, in Tennessee; four sisters, Janice (Gary) Myers, of Hamilton, Martha Sallows, of Mishawauka, Indiana, Clara (Allen) Musser, of Sylvania, Ohio, and Joyce (Larry) Ice, of Angola; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Louis and George Fraley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 2:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, Ohio. Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio, with grave side military rites conducted by Hamilton American Legion.
