Dennis W. Lake, 66

Dennis W. Lake, 66, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his residence with his wife by his side. Dennis was born June 9, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late Orin and Evelyn (Culler) Lake. He was a 1973 graduate of Woodlan High School, Woodburn, Indiana. Dennis continued his education, obtaining an associate degree in electronics. He married Ann L. Miles on June 17, 1978, in Hicksville, Ohio and she survives. Dennis worked as a network facility engineer for Verizon for 27 years, until his retirement in 2003. In his free time, Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming. He especially cherished his time spent with his family. Dennis and Ann enjoyed traveling across the country camping and spending time together.

Surviving is his wife, Ann Lake of Antwerp, Ohio; two children, Robin (Rob) Morhart of Hicksville, Ohio, and Randy (Kayla) Lake of Hoagland, Indiana; two grandchildren, Blake and Brexton Morhart; brother, Roger (Nancy) Lake of Fort Wayne, Indiana; niece, Mindy Lake and nephew, Rodney Lake.

Visitation for Dennis will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville with memorial services beginning at 12:00 noon in the funeral home with Minister Alex Heffelfinger officiating.

The family asks those remembering Dennis to make memorial contributions to St. John Lutheran Church, Hicksville, or Community Health Professional Home Hospice-Paulding County.
