Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has signed an executive order concerning the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. DeWine said the order was to confirm the state government had been preparing for the eclipse, especially safety concerns that may result from the event.“The safety and well-being of Ohioans is always at the forefront of everything we do,” DeWine said in a statement. “We have been preparing for the April 8 solar eclipse for several years to ensure this once-in-lifetime event can be safe and memorable for all.”
