DeWitt Case Update

Keagan DeWitt was in a Defiance court room, facing a felony charge in connection with injuring a child. He waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Defiance County Common Pleas Court on a charge of child endangering, a second-degree felony. DeWitt’s bond of $150,000, with a 10-percent cash allowance, was continued. The female child, who isn’t being identified by the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office, remains hospitalized at Toledo Children’s Hospital.
