Donald Joseph Perrin, 78 years, of Defiance, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo. Donald was born April 21, 1936 in Cloverdale, Ohio the son of the late Arthur Louis and Helen Margaret (Erhart) Perrin. He was a 1955 graduate of Sherwood Delaware High School. Donald was employed by Defiance Milk Products Company for 40 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Delaware Bend as well as the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his siblings, Kenneth Perrin of Princeton, Illinois, Wayne Perrin of Defiance, Judy Fisher of Paulding, Ohio and Jim Perrin of Harlan, Indiana; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother-in-law, Tom Fisher and one niece, Teresa Fisher.
Visitation for Donald Joseph Perrin will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at St. Isidore Catholic Church 16166 Speaker Road, Defiance with Father Robert Kill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to direct memorial contributions to Masses, St. Isidore Catholic Church or Quadco Rehabilitation Services.
