Donnabelle Coy, age 94, of Stryker, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold.
Donnabelle was born in Bryan, Ohio on March 4, 1920, the daughter of Floyd and Ethel (Deck) Impton. On May 2, 1938 she married Harlan Coy, and he preceded her in death on September 30, 2013.
Surviving are three sons, Russell (Cindra) Coy of Ney, Roger (Patty) Coy of Stryker, Robin (Kim) Coy of Stryker; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leona Shirkey of Bryan, Arlene Franks of Bryan; and two brothers, Ray Impton of Bryan and Bob Impton of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan, and brother, Harold Impton.
Visitation for Donnabelle will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at in the Chapel at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Charles Gautsche, officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan. A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the burial in the Fairlawn Haven Community Room. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home. Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker has been entrusted with arrangements.
