Donnie L. Stewart, 60 years, of Bryan, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, June 13, 2014 in his residence. Donnie was born July 7, 1953 in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of the late Robert and Katherine (Siler) Stewart. He was a 1971 graduate of Defiance High School, then attended Northwest State Community College. He married Betty Ann Rosendaul on July 9, 1990 in Bryan, and she survives. Donnie was employed at Campbell Soup in Napoleon for nearly 30 years. He was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233. Donnie loved music. He had a collection of over 800 CD’s. He was talented in playing the guitar and played with several area bands. He also enjoyed camping, cookouts and spending quality time with his family. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre.
In addition to his wife Betty, Donnie is survived by his son, Robert, and his wife Beth Brickey of Bryan; two sisters, Sheryl (Eric) Zipfel of Defiance and Bobbi Jo (Shawn) Laughlin of Lordstown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will not be any visitation and the celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio.
