Doris W. Patee, age 92, of Bryan, Ohio, and a longtime resident of Edon, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at The Village at Hillside Country Living. Mrs. Patee worked for Simpson Industries in accounting for 19 ½ years. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Union Church near Edon.
Doris was born on February 12, 1925, in Northwest Township, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Clara (Wantzig) Musser. She was a 1943 graduate of Edon High School. Doris married Wayne L. Patee on May 1, 1944, in Auburn, and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2015.
Survivors include three daughters, Diann (Barry) Rehmert, of Blakeslee, Ohio, Linda Parson, of Temperance, Michigan, and Colleen (Jim) Siebenaler, of Edon; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ralph and L.D. Musser and sisters, Pauline Shall, Dorabelle Musser and Hazel Shock.
Grave side services will be held in Edon Cemetery on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Michael Slagle officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, prior to the services.
