Dorothy L. Peterson, age 91, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:05 A.M. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center near Defiance. Mrs. Peterson worked as a secretary and bookkeeper. She attended Grace Community Church in Bryan and was a member of the Seasoned Divas Bible Study life group.
Dorothy was born on November 2, 1926, in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur and Leona (Fryer) Yanke.
Survivors include her children, Dawn (Thomas) Czyzewski, of Bryan, Dennis (Sharon) Windle, of Michigan, Shirley (Don) Harner, of Texas and Dorothy Adkins, of Indiana; eight grandchildren, including locally, Matthew (Jamie) Baines and Sean (Jennifer) Baines, both of Fort Wayne and Ashley Baines and Alicia Luke, both of Bryan and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and sisters and two grandsons.
Private services for Dorothy will be held by her family. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with her services.
