Douglas E, Pessefall, 49 years, of Sherwood, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Grafton, North Dakota, as the result of an automobile accident. Doug was born January 17, 1964 in Defiance, the son of Francis “Ed” and Dorothy “Jeanie” (Coressel) Pessefall. He was an Army veteran. Doug worked at several area firms as a welder. Three weeks ago, he moved to Grafton, North Dakota to begin work with Morton Builders.
Surviving are his parents, Ed and Jeanie Pessefall of Sherwood; two brothers, Shawn J. Pessefall of Butler, Indiana and Craig A. Pessefall of Sherwood; one niece, Lacy Jo Pessefall of St. Joe, Indiana; one nephew, Ryan L. Pessefall of Harlan, Indiana; one great-niece, Priscella Pessefall and one great nephew, Damon Pessefall.
Memorial services for Douglas E. Pessefall will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood, Ohio with Father Robert Kill officiating. Interment will be private.
