Driving Arrest Near Waterloo

A teen driver is arrested…charged with a minor consuming alcohol…after crashing into a Waterloo field with two passengers in the car. Officials say, early Sunday, 18-year-old Summer Restle of Garrett was driving southbound on CR 27. She tries to turn east onto CR 14 at a high rate of speed. She misses the turn, and heads into a field. The front seat passenger, 18-year-old Jericho Davis of Auburn, was hospitalized for an injury to his right shoulder. In the back seat, 19-year-old Lance Barnhart of Auburn, has a right leg injury…he received treatment at an area hospital, as well. State and local officials continue to investigate.
