Duane Edward Kolbe, age 70 of Wauseon, passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Duane was a U.S. Army veteran and attended college at Morehead State University. He retired from the construction field, which he worked most of his life.
Mr. Kolbe was born in Wauseon of November 7, 1946 to the late Rudolph Kolbe and the late Estella (Buchanan) Kolbe.
Duane is survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Christie Barrett; a brother, Carl Kolbe and a sister, Virginia Black.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to honor Duane’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Duane may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
